Seeing Hearts

As I’ve said before, Valentine’s Day is one of the girliest holidays ever. It’s the one day a year when you can incorporate pink, lace and hearts into your ensemble without it being tacky, so of course I’m going to jump at the chance!

Tonight I’m going out for dinner with my boyfriend, so I decided to wear this white lacy dress with scalloped edges. I love its feminine, Victorian vibe. It’s such a fun piece to wear! I paired it with some nude pumps to make my legs look long and streamlined.

Long trench coats are super on-trend for spring right now, so I decided to wear one over my dress. And to complete the look, I added some heart-shaped sunglasses in honour of V-Day. I think they’re so fun – they kind of remind me of the psychedelic hippie era!

I love this outfit because I’m combining three of my favourite aesthetics: Victorian, 60s hippie and ultra-feminine. I also really enjoy wearing heels once in a while because I usually don’t get the chance. They make me feel so fancy and dressed up!
