Stuck on Wallpaper

e5fd0d505aea06b51a45ae948830d5fbWhat’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of wallpaper? For most, it involves musty couches, uncomfortable dresses and your grandmother’s cooking.

While wallpaper tends to carry an unfortunate stigma, I’m all for bringing back old trends and upcycling even the most downtrodden items. Things that might seem outdated or tacky can sometimes add the perfect amount of quirk and character to a space.

To me, one of those things is busy, bright, patterned wallpaper! While some may view it as stuffy or overstated, I think an accent wall covered in an interesting print can be the perfect addition to an otherwise boring or neutral room.

I believe that a luxurious, intricate design can add a lovely touch of eccentricity and individuality to your space. When used sparingly, wallpaper can transform your home, taking it from cookie-cutter to completely you!

Luckily, there are tons of creative prints and patterns to choose from, giving you lots of opportunities to let your home decor speak to your own unique personality. From birds to animals to bright florals, anything goes with wallpaper these days – the quirkier, the better!

A good print can do wonders for your space and add a layer of texture and colour that isn’t as easily achieved through furniture and accessories alone. A statement wall (or walls!) will add a super striking wow factor that will up the ante for your entire space.

I’ve compiled a gallery of a few of my favourite prints to get you crushing on wallpaper as much as I am! Click through it for some inspiration.
