What I Wore Wednesday: Colourful tunic

IMG_8119This week’s #whatiworewednesday is colourful, free and a little boho.

I just love wearing things like this chiffon tunic from Free People because it’s so comfortable and airy yet it’s also versatile enough to be dressy. While today I’m wearing it with denim cut-offs, bare feet and lots of jewelry, I sometimes also pair it with jeans and heels to make it work for nighttime wear.

The fact that it’s so versatile makes it easy to wear for almost any occasion, which is a win-win for me because it’s also so comfortable. I love wearing flowy tops because I don’t have to feel insecure at all about sucking in my stomach at all times (let’s be honest — everyone gets bloated from time to time!).

Plus, the top’s material is super fine and high-quality, so that’s another reason why I feel like it’s totally appropriate for evening wear. It also has some stunning sequins details embellished throughout, which I think is so charming and elegant.

Finally, the white background of this tunic accentuates my tan (which is always a plus!) and the mismatched colours of the sequins embellishments make for such a charming look. I topped off the ensemble with some busy jewelry to create a boho feel.

What do you guys think of this look? Let me know in the comments!
